What is the turnaround time on an ESQ garment?
Our turnaround time is generally 4 weeks. For custom linings, please allow an additional 7 days.
What fabrics do you use?
We source fabrics from only the top mills from England and Italy, including but not limited to Holland & Sherry, Scabal, Dormeuil, Loro Piana, Ariston and many more. We currently source over 40,000 fabrics.
What is your custom lining process?
Since creating custom linings in 2014, it has taken off like wildfire. We can turn almost any high resolution image into a lining – perfect for weddings, engagements and special events. Click here for the world’s first look at a custom lining.
What type of garments do you make?
We make all types of garments related to formal menswear, including but not limited to suits, tuxedos, shirts, trousers, blazers and sport coats, shorts and custom shoes.
How are ESQ suits constructed?
The ESQ suit is designed and constructed by hand. Once your measurements are taken, a master tailor will draw your individual pattern. From there, our team will hand cut and sew your pattern with custom canvassing from Italy designed specifically for the type of garment, whether it be a 7 layer canvas for a traditional English jacket, or a lightweight 3 layer canvas in our Neapolitan jacket. Each stitch you’ll see is carefully stitched by hand.
How do I take care of my ESQ garments?
Please dry clean all ESQ garment when needed. This usually is every 5-8 wears per suit, try not to dry clean too often as chemicals will wear down natural wool, cotton and silk.
Can I rush my order?
Depending on the fabric, we may be able to expedite orders to 3 weeks. Please contact us immediately if you need to rush an order.
Do you offer packages?
Do you offer discounts for groups or weddings?
Where are ESQ suits and garments constructed?
Our fabrics are milled from England and Italy. Our construction is performed by an ESQ owned team of 100 master tailors and designers.
Can I schedule a fitting if I’m not in Chicago?
Can I use measurements taken by my own tailor?
Yes, but we strongly recommend against this, the reason being that each tailor will take measurements differently. We have our unique method of measuring to ensure the perfect fit. If you insist on using your own measurements, we unfortunately will not be able to guarantee the fit of your garments.
Can I base my measurements on a favorite suit that I own?
Can I supply my own fabrics?
Yes, you may supply your own fabric but the price of your finished garment will be the same as our base level bespoke garment of corresponding type.
